Why is CBD Oil better than others?

At MyInsomniaFix, the effectiveness of the products and the satisfaction of customers is always the goal. We would like to enrich the experience of our customers and open CBD oil to a wider acceptance in the market. We provide varied and effective products for various CBD applications. This is one of the great features of MyInsomniaFix CBD Oil and the reason for its great popularity.

What is CBD oil?

Within the last few years the active ingredient cannabidiol (CBD) has gained a lot of popularity at breakneck speed and has found alternative medical applications. Its use in the health, nutritional supplement and medical cannabis industries is steadily increasing and various studies are providing new insights. CBD exists beside THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) as the most frequently used active substance in the hemp plant.

Cannabidiol offers the user a large part of the positive effects of the hemp plant without the unwanted psychoactive effects or side effects of conventional cannabis use. CBD also counteracts the intoxicating effects of THC and can even alleviate its side effects in case of overdose. Primarily, the hemp flowers and leaves of female hemp are used for the recovery of CBD.

The valuable ingredient CBD is currently being produced in industrial production through the gentle and efficient CO2 extraction process. Under high pressure, the compressed “supercritical CO2” (carbon dioxide) dissolves the substances from the hemp plant. After that, the pressure within the process is lowered and the CO2 releases the extracts again. In this way, the natural ingredients of the plant are preserved and the CO2 escapes completely. Now, the substances obtained are still “decarboxylated“, which means that the substances are heated over a certain period of time (usually 30-45 min) to a temperature of about 135 ° C. This step is used for the conversion of CBDA (cannabidiol acid) to CBD, the active and more potent form of cannabinoid. This allows the cannabinoids to develop their full effect on further use and subsequent mixing.

Of course, CBP oil also contains terpenes and flavonoids, the ingredients that give the hemp plant its unmistakable fragrance and which are also said to have great properties in support of the immune system. Hemp seed oil, olive oil or coconut oil (Capric triglycerides) are often used for further enrichment of CBD oil. The coconut oil has the advantage that the antioxidants and the active ingredients can be enclosed and carried directly to the effective range, without suffering oxidative losses when ingested. The active ingredient CBD is first absorbed through the oral mucosa and is then detectable in blood plasma after about 15 minutes (bioavailability of CBD by oral ingestion).

Hemp seed or olive oil may be perceived by many users as unpleasant due to their tart taste and scratching effect in the throat. Therefore, MyInsomniaFix uses CBD Oil products that doesn’t cause any irritation while ingesting.

The potential uses and benefits of CBD oil are broad and diversified. Unfortunately, from a legal point of view, we cannot name diseases or symptoms.

CBD is therefore one of the most promising active ingredients of the hemp plant, with its other areas of use still being researched. It can be stated that CBD is already able to do a great deal and there will be a lot of positive things to report in the future.

What is hempseed oil?

Hemp oil is obtained from the seeds (also called hemp nets) of the hemp plant and is usually cold pressed. This form of oil extraction can come from virtually all plants of the cannabis genus; however, the hemp is the most common source of most hemp seed oils due to its breeding in terms of ingredients (low THC and CBD share), its massive seed expression and the stable fibers. Depending on the processing, the oil may appear in a green color and a bitter, partly nutty flavor (due to unpeeled seeds, chlorophyll and carotenoid content).

By the way, did you know that chlorophyll (in high doses) has the property to neutralize the annoying garlic odor after eating? Also, hempseed oil is classified as a high-quality edible oil because of its high content of various essential fatty acids. These include linoleic acid (omega-6) and linolenic acid (omega-3), which are both monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These fatty acids cannot be synthesized by the human body and therefore need to be added via food intake. This is why hempseed oil is a herbal alternative to the otherwise commonly used fish oils. This protects wildlife and, as a renewable resource, offers some additional benefits for the preservation of our environment.

Hempseed oil is often used in salads, pasta dishes or rice. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for frying because the fatty acids decompose at temperatures above about 165 ° C. Often hemp seed oil is also used as a carrier for other hemp products such as CBD oil. Hemp is used among other things for the further processing paper and textile industry and has many applications as a natural insulation.

As you can see, there is a range of uses of industrial hemp. However, does it offer the same benefits that you expect to get from CBD Oil? A simple answer is, “no, it doesn’t.”

Hemp seed oil is also used in industry in the following areas.

  • Animal food industry
  • Color industry (for ecological paints and paints)
  • Cosmetics industry (lotions, soaps and other skin products)
  • Food industry (hemp proteins, oils, etc.)
  • Plastics industry (as an alternative to petroleum)

In summary, it can be said that hemp seed oil is gaining more and more reputation and application in the broad masses and it is increasingly becoming common on the shopping lists. It’s controversial association with “hemp plant” moves further out of sight, whereas the positive effects of the plant are becoming more and more important. This is another positive aspect of change that has been going on for some time now – more and more people are broadening their awareness of food and wanting to live healthier lives.

What is cannabis oil?

Cannabis oil, hashish oil, THC oil or “Rick Simpson Oil” is an “extract”, which consists of the flowers and leaves of potent cannabis plants with a high proportion of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD (cannabidiol) and all other cannabinoids present in the plant. These extracts have the entire content spectrum of the cannabis plant, including the dissolved terpenes and flavonoids. Therefore, in terms of effectiveness it’s the strongest cannabis product and falls under the category of Narcotics because of the psychoactive substance THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Mistakenly (because of its consistency and color), the end product is referred to as oil, which is much more likely to be a paste extracted from an alcohol reduction (or another method depending on the solvent). In traditional production, the minced plant parts are heavily mixed or ground in food alcohol (95-99 vol.%). As a result, the ingredients of the plant, which are located in the trichomes (small elongated hairs that grow out of the plant and collect resins of the plant), dissolve in the alcohol.

The further process involves multiple filters to remove the solid parts of the plant from the alcohol solution almost without residue. The now greenish and watery solution is heated in the next steps to allow the alcohol to evaporate. It is important to note the temperature used, i.e. 140°C since cannabinoids also fall victim to the heat. The heat is maintained until the desired contents are collected in concentrated form at the bottom of the heat container and the alcohol is almost completely evaporated.

The now-obtained viscous paste should be placed in an airtight container for further use and storage. It is best to use a retractable syringe. This allows a comfortable and accurate delivery of cannabis oil for the user. The cannabis oil can also be packed in capsules and mixed with an oil such as coconut oil. This is a tasteless way of taking it.

Of course, the pharmaceutical industry around the world has also been involved in the development of THC-containing products, since these are in addition to its effectiveness, a very lucrative source of income for them. Drugs such as Sativex (mouth spray with THC and CBD), dronabinol (pure THC) are just a few of the remedies that have established over time as highly effective drugs. These are also available on health insurance as well as private prescriptions. Unfortunately, because of that the health insurance companies do not bear the costs of acquiring dronabinol for no indication. Sativex, on the other hand, has been successfully approved for the symptomatic improvement of spasticity in multiple sclerosis and is regularly available in pharmacies against prescription.

In summary, cannabis oil, with its full spectrum of cannabinoids and flavonoids, also has a great potential for efficacy and offers many benefits. However, cannabis oil also has all sorts of side effects that can occur, including the intoxicating factors of THC. In addition, the availability is very limited and strictly controlled due to the regulations. Unfortunately, lack of education among physicians is also a strong factor, which is why cannabis oil is so rarely prescribed to patients on prescription even when it can help so much.

CBD, CBDA, hemp and THC. Where are the differences?

CBDA and THCA are two cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, which are formed as the plant grows. These acids are considered to be “passive” and less effective than CBD and THC, which are extremely effective “active” forms of cannabinoids. In order to obtain the desired active forms, the acids must undergo the process of “decarboxylation” before or after their recovery (starting from CO2 extraction). The extracts or parts of plants are heated for a certain period of time (30-45 min) With an average temperature of about 130 °C.

CBD Oil Vs. Hemp Oil: Summary

The sources and uses of CBD oil and hemp oil are drastically different – most users get confused between the two and end up buying the wrong product. CBD Oil requires extraction from the whole plant. On the other hand, hemp oil is extracted from the seed. This is why hemp oil is often referred to as hemp seed oil.

CBD oil carries all the health and wellness benefits that are often used to help improve the internal functions of the body. On the other hand, hemp oil is an ingredient used in skincare and food products.  The biggest difference is Hemp Oil contains almost no CBD – so if you buy hemp oil thinking it’s CBD oil all you are really getting is an expensive carrier oil.

Does CBD oil have advantages over hemp oil and cannabis oil?

Due to the full content spectrum, cannabis oil can potentially also be used for more applications than “just” the ingredient CBD alone. However, cannabis oil also carries a risk of the unwanted side effects of THC. These side effects range from physical symptoms such as palpitations to psychotic symptoms such as anxiety and panic disorders – these are just a few examples of potential side effects. Apart from that, cannabis oil falls under strict regulation and it is not approved for use by FDA. On the other hand, CBD Oil offers the same efficiency minus the side effects of THC, which makes it a better choice when it comes to health benefits. Making a comparison, one may also say that CBD oil can be used by everyone as a safe agent. Similarly, CBD Oil has a clear advantage over hemp oil because of its numerous benefits.
